To know what HIV is, let’s break it straight down :
H – Human – This special of virus is only able to contaminate humans .
I – Immunodeficiency – HIV weakens your immune system by doing damage to crucial cells that combat disease and infection . A “poor” immune system can’t do to protect you .
V – Virus – The virus is only able to reproduce itself by taking over a cell within the body of the host .
HIV is much like other viruses which includes those that result in the “flu” or perhaps the common cold . Over time, HIV can ruin numerous your CD4 cells that your body won’t be able to fight infection and diseases any more . When that takes place , HIV infection can cause AIDS.
